Professor:

Medical Candidates:

  • Medical Qualification: Included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
  • Postgraduate Qualification: MD/MS or a recognized equivalent.
  • Experience: 14 years of teaching/research in a recognized institution in the specialty.

Non-Medical Candidates:

  • Master’s Degree: In the required discipline.
  • Doctorate Degree: From a recognized university.
  • Experience: 14 years of teaching/research in the discipline after obtaining the doctorate.

Additional Professor:

Medical Candidates:

  • Same as for Professor.
  • Experience: 10 years of teaching/research in the specialty.

Non-Medical Candidates:

  • Same as for Professor.
  • Experience: 10 years of teaching/research in the discipline after obtaining the doctorate.

Associate Professor:

Medical Candidates:

  • Same as for Professor.
  • Experience: 6 years of teaching/research in the specialty.

Non-Medical Candidates:

  • Same as for Professor.
  • Experience: 6 years of teaching/research in the discipline after obtaining the doctorate.

Assistant Professor:

Medical Candidates:

  • Same as for Professor.
  • Experience: 3 years of teaching/research in the specialty.

Non-Medical Candidates:

  • Same as for Professor.

Salary:

As per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommendations, along with usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees of similar status at AIIMS Bibinagar, Hyderabad, Telangana.

Important Dates:
