Employer Overview

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is a constitutional body responsible for conducting prestigious exams to recruit candidates for various civil services and government positions. The Combined Geo-Scientist Examination recruits candidates for positions in Geological Survey of India (GSI) under the Ministry of Mines and the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) under the Ministry of Jal Shakti.

  1. Online Application: Candidates must apply online at https://upsconline.nic.in.
  2. One Time Registration (OTR): First-time applicants need to complete OTR before applying.
  3. Submission Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 24th September 2024 (before 6 PM).
  4. Required Documents: Upload scanned copies of the following:

Penalty for Wrong Answers: There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the Preliminary Examination (1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer).
