Employer Overview
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is a constitutional body responsible for conducting prestigious exams to recruit candidates for various civil services and government positions. The Combined Geo-Scientist Examination recruits candidates for positions in Geological Survey of India (GSI) under the Ministry of Mines and the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) under the Ministry of Jal Shakti.

Salary
- The salary for all positions will follow the Central Government pay scale applicable to Group A and Group B posts. Detailed salary structure will be provided upon final selection.

- One Time Registration (OTR): First-time applicants need to complete OTR before applying.
- Submission Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 24th September 2024 (before 6 PM).

- Educational qualifications
- Caste/Category certificates (if applicable)
- Disability certificate (if applicable)

Penalty for Wrong Answers: There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the Preliminary Examination (1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer).
