Online Applications Invited for 32 Law Clerk (Trainee) Posts in High Court of Judicature at Allahabad

The High Court of Judicature at Allahabad is inviting online applications for contractual engagement on 32 posts of Law Clerks (Trainee) for one year, with a fixed honorarium of Rs. 25,000/- per month. Interested candidates who are fresh Law Graduates, aged between 21 and 26 years as on 01.07.2022, can apply online from 06.03.2023 to 21.03.2023. Here are the details of the engagement:

Number of Vacancies and Fee

The number of vacancies may vary during the course of the engagement, and the application fee is Rs. 300/- per candidate, along with applicable bank charges. The payment has to be made online.

Essential Qualifications

The candidate must have a three-year professional/five-year integrated degree in Law from any Law College or recognized University in India. The applications are open to Law Graduates who have not yet started practising as an advocate or are not engaged in any other profession or vocation/service. The candidates who have appeared in LL.B. (Final Year) Examination and are awaiting results can also apply. However, only Law Graduates who have scored not less than 55% marks in their LL.B. examination are eligible to apply for the post of Law Clerks (Trainee). They shall have to submit their final year mark sheet of the LL.B. Examination at the time of the interview, which is likely to be held in April 2023.

Engagement Details

The engagement is purely on a short-term contractual basis for one year, which is liable to be extended further for up to one more year, subject to the performance of the candidate being found satisfactory by the Hon’ble Judge with whom he/she is attached. The engagement shall carry no dearness allowance or any other allowances or perquisites such as residential accommodation, etc.

Interested candidates can apply online through the official website of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad. The online application form will be available from 06.03.2023 to 21.03.2023. After submitting the application form online, the candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form and retain the same for future reference.
