Introduction: REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (REC PDCL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC Ltd., is a “Maharatna CPSE” under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. REC PDCL offers expert consultancy services across the value chain of the Indian power sector. The company is inviting applications from experienced professionals for engagement on Fixed Tenure Basis for the posts of Executive (Tech.) (Power System Expert)/L4, Executive (Tech.) (IT Expert)/L4, and Dy. Executive (Tech.) (Utility Coordinator)/L3.

Executive (Tech.) (Power System Expert)/L4:REC Logo

Job Description: The candidate applying for this post should have a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in the power sector in Generation/Transmission & Distribution/Smart Grid/Smart Metering. The nature of work includes development/planning/coordination with various agencies and implementation of power projects, manpower/team handling, and handling AMI/AMR projects and associated solutions.

Qualification: Regular Full-time B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent from a recognized Institute/University with a minimum of the first division or equivalent CGPA.

Desirable Qualification: Post-Graduate Diploma in Management/MBA

Executive (Tech.) (IT Expert)/L4:

Job Description: The candidate applying for this post should have a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in the power sector in Generation/Transmission & Distribution/Smart Grid/Smart Metering, and experience in Data Centre/Application Development/Cloud services/IoT enablement. The nature of work includes development/planning/coordination with various agencies and implementation of power projects, manpower/team handling, and handling AMI/AMR Projects and associated solutions.

Qualification: Regular Full-time B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Information Technology/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent from a recognized Institute/University with a minimum of the first division or equivalent CGPA.

Desirable Qualification: Post-Graduate Diploma in Management/MBA

Dy. Executive (Tech.) (Utility Coordinator)/L3:

Job Description: The candidate applying for this post should have a minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience in power sector operations or implementation of power sector projects in areas like implementation of R-APDRP projects, operation and maintenance of power distribution systems, and coordination with various stakeholders in the power sector.

Qualification: Regular Full-time B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent from a recognized Institute/University with a minimum of the first division or equivalent CGPA.

Nature of Engagement: Selected candidates will be engaged on a fixed tenure basis for a period of 2 years, which may be further extended depending on the requirement of the project and individual performance, up to a maximum tenure of 4 years and 6 months. The engagement will be on a contract basis and will not confer any right to permanent absorption in the company.

Remuneration: The selected candidates will be offered a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 1,30,000/- for the post of Executive (Tech.) (Power System Expert)/L4 and Executive (Tech.) (IT Expert)/L4 and Rs. 90,000/- for the post of Dy. Executive (Tech.) (Utility Coordinator)/L3. The candidates will also be eligible for other benefits like medical facilities, gratuity, leave encashment, and others as per company rules.
