Reservation:
Reservation will be provided for the Scheduled Castes(SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes(OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Ex-servicemen (ESM) & Persons with Disabilities (PwD), etc. as per extant Govt. Orders.
Age Limit (As on 01-01-2022):
i) 18-25 years for MTS and Havaldar in CBN.
ii) 18-27years for Havaldar in CBIC and few posts of MTS.
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:
1) SC/ST – 5 years
2) OBC – 3 years
3) PwD (Unreserved) – 10 years
4) PwD (OBC) – 13 years
5) PwD (SC/ST) – 15years
6) ESM – 03 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on closing date of receipt of online application.
Educational Qualifications:
1) The candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.
2) Candidates possessing equivalent educational qualification shall also produce relevant Equivalence Certificate from the authorities concerned at the time of Document Verification.

i) Application must be submitted in online mode at the website of the Commission i.e. https:/ /ssc.nic.in.
ii) In the online Application Form, candidates are required to upload the scanned colour passport size photograph in JPEG format.

Important Instructions to Candidates:
a) Before applying, candidates must to go through the instructions given in the notice of examination very carefully.
b) The notice of examinations is printed both in english and hindi. in case of any dispute, the english version will prevail.
c) Applications with miniature/ blurred/ illegible Photograph/ Signature will be rejected.
