Job Profile and Responsibilities
As a Credit Analyst at SBI, your core responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out due diligence on assigned credit proposals
- Completing timely reviews and renewals of credit assessments
- Securing maximum audit marks for asset management team
- Assisting relationship managers in achieving business growth targets
- Adhering to stipulated turnaround times for credit processing
- Analyzing financial statements for credit appraisal
- Interacting with key officials of prospective borrowers
- Undertaking pre-sanction site visits
- Supporting preparation of credit proposals and presentations
- Attending consortium meetings
- Monitoring credit portfolio health
Key Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical skills – balance sheet, cash flow analysis
- In-depth understanding of credit appraisal process
- Ability to assess credit worthiness and risks
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Technical knowledge of banking and credit norms
Educational Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline
- MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / ICWA
Minimum Experience Required
3 years of work experience in corporate credit management with banks/financial institutions
Salary and Perks
An attractive compensation package will be offered to the selected candidates as per SBI standards. Apart from the basic pay scale, allowances like DA, HRA etc. will be admissible as per the rules.
