Job Description:

Responsibilities:

As a Project Coordinator or Head of Division/Regional Station/Centre, you will lead and manage teams, providing strategic direction and administrative support to ensure the successful implementation of projects. Your role will involve attaining institute objectives, adhering to internal policies, regulations, and procedures, and contributing to the advancement of Agricultural Research.

Requirements:

For the position of Project Coordinator, candidates should possess a doctoral degree in a relevant branch of agriculture/horticulture or basic sciences with specialization in crop improvement/production protection, along with a minimum of three years of experience as a Principal Scientist/Professor or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band-4. Demonstrated evidence of publications, activities, and contributions in Agricultural Research will be essential.

For the position of Head of Division, candidates should have a doctoral degree in agricultural structures and process engineering/post-harvest engineering and technology/bio-process engineering/chemical engineering or agricultural economics/dairy economics/veterinary economics/fisheries economics with specialization in Agriculture/Agricultural Extension/Veterinary Extension/Dairy Extension/Fisheries Extension/Agricultural Communication in Agricultural Sciences/Rural Development/Rural Management, with a minimum of three years of experience as a Principal Scientist/Professor or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band-4. Desirable qualifications include a broad vision/perspective on Agricultural Research, evident through publications and contributions.

For the position of Head of Regional Station/Centre, candidates should have a doctoral degree in a relevant branch of agriculture/horticulture or basic sciences with specialization in crop improvement/production protection or agricultural process engineering/bio-processing/post-harvest engineering, accompanied by a minimum of three years of experience as a Principal Scientist/Professor or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band-4. A broad vision/perspective on Agricultural Research, substantiated by publications and contributions, will be advantageous.
