Selection Process
- Written examination (OMR, 3 hours): Part A – Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test (100 questions, 150 marks, minimum qualifying 40%); Part B – General Studies (75 questions, 150 marks); Part C – Aptitude and Mental Ability (25 questions).
- Ranking based on total marks, with tie-breaking rules as given in the notification.
- Onscreen certificate verification of shortlisted candidates.
- Physical Standards and Endurance Tests for Forest Guard with Driving Licence and Forest Watcher (held in Chennai).
- Physical certificate verification and counselling.
