Job Requirement: The work includes physical maintenance of section records, general cleanliness and upkeep of the section, carrying files and documents to other sections, photocopying, delivering dak, opening and closing the section or room, dusting of furniture, preparation and supply of tea or coffee to officials and guests, and any other work assigned by superior officers.

Selection Process

1. A competitive written examination will be conducted for all provisionally eligible candidates.
2. The final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of performance in the written examination.
3. Document verification of originals will be done before the offer of appointment.

Exam Pattern: OMR based or computer based objective type multiple choice examination, with standard of Class 10th. The paper has 150 questions and a total time of 2 hours. Questions are set in English and Hindi, except the English Language questions. Each correct answer carries 3 marks, and there is 01 negative mark for every wrong answer.

In case of a tie, the order is: candidate with lesser negative marks, older candidate by date of birth, candidate who acquired the essential degree earlier, and then alphabetical order of first names. Shortlisting may be done by a Screening Committee before the written examination.
