Selection Process

Candidates are shortlisted on the UGC academic score (Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Regulations 2018), which is used only for shortlisting. Final selection depends only on the interview. Shortlisted candidates for regular positions may be asked to give a presentation of about 30 minutes on their domain knowledge and research, and original documents with one set of self-attested copies must be shown at the interview.

Regular positions carry one year of probation. Professor of Practice engagement may be for up to one year initially, with a maximum service of three years (extendable by one year in exceptional cases, not exceeding four years in total).
