- Medical Qualification: Included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
- Postgraduate Qualification: MD/MS or a recognized equivalent.
- Experience: 14 years of teaching/research in a recognized institution in the specialty.
Non-Medical Candidates:
- Master’s Degree: In the required discipline.
- Doctorate Degree: From a recognized university.
- Experience: 14 years of teaching/research in the discipline after obtaining the doctorate.
Additional Professor:
Medical Candidates:
- Same as for Professor.
- Experience: 10 years of teaching/research in the specialty.
Non-Medical Candidates:
- Same as for Professor.
- Experience: 10 years of teaching/research in the discipline after obtaining the doctorate.
Associate Professor:
Medical Candidates:
- Same as for Professor.
- Experience: 6 years of teaching/research in the specialty.
Non-Medical Candidates:
- Same as for Professor.

Assistant Professor:

Salary:
As per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommendations, along with usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees of similar status at AIIMS Bibinagar, Hyderabad, Telangana.
