Selection Process

Stage	Details
Stage-I: Screening Test (40 marks)	Objective type MCQ test on OMR sheet of 1 hour: Road Sign recognition (20 marks) and General Knowledge (20 marks). These marks are not counted in the final merit list.
Stage-II: Driving Test (40 marks)	Candidates in the ratio 1:5 of vacancies are called. Four segments of 10 marks each: starting, driving, parking and after driving. Minimum 20 marks required.
Stage-III: Interview / Viva-Voce (20 marks)	Candidates in the ratio 1:3 of vacancies are called, along with document verification. Minimum 12 marks required.

Final selection is based on total marks in the Driving test and Interview. In case of a tie, the candidate with higher marks in the written examination gets preference, and then the senior in age.
