## Selection Process

The recruitment for Head Constable (Education & Stress Counsellor) comprises the following phases:

**Phase 1: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST)**

– **Male Candidates:** 1.6 km race (to be completed within 7.30 minutes), Long Jump (11 feet – 3 chances), High Jump (3.5 feet – 3 chances)
– **Female Candidates:** 800 metre race (to be completed within 4.45 minutes), Long Jump (9 feet – 3 chances), High Jump (3 feet – 3 chances)
– PET is qualifying in nature; no marks awarded
– Ex-Servicemen are exempted from PET
