Selection Process

• Objective type multiple choice written test in English, with negative marking of one-fourth marks for each wrong answer.
• Marks: UT Cadre written test 85, Division Cadre 80, District Cadre 75, with additional points (home division/district, family without government service, widows/divorced/orphan women, casual workers) up to a total of 100.
• Document Verification, then cadre and department allocation on merit-cum-preference. Syllabus will be notified separately.

1. Visit the JKSSB website jkssb.nic.in and open the online application portal.
2. Fill in the form with name, date of birth and parents’ names exactly as in the Matriculation certificate.
3. Upload live photograph and signature (10 KB to 20 KB each) and pay the fee online.
4. Submit before 3 November 2026 and keep a printout for Document Verification. Do not send a hard copy to the Board.
