How the Selection Works
Selection is through a written test and a skill test. The syllabus will be notified later. Shortlisted candidates are called for document verification. Meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee a call, and the university may form a screening committee to shortlist on additional criteria such as higher qualifications or experience. For Group C posts, daily-wage or contract employees of the university get 4% extra marks per year of service, capped at 20%.

- Register on the Recruitment & Assessment Cell (RAC) portal at www.bhu.ac.in/rac.
- Fill in the online form; non-teaching details are also on www.bhu.ac.in/rac/non-teaching.
- Upload a passport-size photograph and signature as JPEG files, each under 50 KB.
- Submit the form. No changes are allowed after final submission.
- Pay the fee online, if applicable.
- Download and print the form and send it with all enclosures to the Office of the Registrar (Recruitment & Assessment Cell), Holkar House, BHU, Varanasi 221005 (U.P.) by 30 November 2026.
Incomplete applications are rejected. For technical problems, write to recruitment@bhu.ac.in. Employed applicants must apply through proper channel or attach a No Objection Certificate.
