DSSSB is conducting a combined examination for recruitment to the following posts in District & Sessions Courts and Family Courts:

• Senior Personal Assistant: 27 Vacancies (Pay Level: ₹9,300-34,800/- + Grade Pay ₹4,800)
• Personal Assistant: 189 Vacancies (Pay Level: ₹9,300-34,800/- + Grade Pay ₹4,600)
• Personal Assistant (Family Courts): 17 Vacancies
• Junior Judicial Assistant: 151 Vacancies (Pay Level: ₹5,200-20,200/- + Grade Pay ₹2,800)
• Junior Judicial Assistant (Family Courts): 23 Vacancies
• Process Server: 91 Vacancies (Pay Level: ₹5,200-20,200/- + Grade Pay ₹2,400)
• Process Server (Family Courts): 1 Vacancy
• Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon: 139 Vacancies (Pay Level: ₹5,200-20,200/- + Grade Pay ₹2,000)

Key Eligibility Details

Senior Personal Assistant & Personal Assistant

• Educational Qualification: Graduate with specified shorthand and typing speeds
  • Senior Personal Assistant: 110 wpm Shorthand, 40 wpm Typing
  • Personal Assistant: 100 wpm Shorthand, 40 wpm Typing
• Age Limit: 18-27 years (as on 01/06/2026)
• Experience: NIL

Junior Judicial Assistant

• Educational Qualification: Graduate with typing speed of minimum 40 wpm on Computer
• Age Limit: 18-27 years (as on 01/06/2026)
• Pay Scale: ₹5,200-20,200/- + Grade Pay ₹2,800/-

Process Server

• Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent with LMV driving licence and 2 years unblemished driving experience
• Age Limit: 18-27 years (as on 01/06/2026)
• Pay Scale: ₹5,200-20,200/- + Grade Pay ₹2,400/-

Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon

• Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized board
• Age Limit: 18-27 years (as on 01/06/2026)
• Pay Scale: ₹5,200-20,200/- + Grade Pay ₹2,000/-

Examination Scheme

Separate combined examinations will be conducted for each post code:

For Senior Personal Assistant & Personal Assistant:

• Tier I: MCQ Test (90 marks, 90 minutes) – General English & Comprehension, General Knowledge, General Intelligence
• Tier II: Descriptive Test (75 marks, 90 minutes) – Essay, Grammar, Translation
• Tier III: Skill Test – Shorthand & Typing (Qualifying nature)
• Tier IV: Interview (10 marks)

For Junior Judicial Assistant:

• Tier I: MCQ Test (120 marks, 120 minutes)
• Tier II: Descriptive Test (100 marks, 120 minutes)
• Tier III: Skill Test – Typing @ 40 wpm (Qualifying)
• Tier IV: Interview (15 marks)

For Process Server:

• Tier I: Objective/MCQ Test (100 marks, 120 minutes) – English, Hindi, General Knowledge, Arithmetic
• Tier II: Driving Skill Test (Qualifying)
• Tier III: Interview (15 marks)

For Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon:

• Tier I: Objective/MCQ Test (100 marks, 120 minutes) – English, Hindi, General Knowledge, Arithmetic
• Tier II: Interview (15 marks)

Application Fee

• General Amount: ₹100/- (One Hundred)
• Fee Exemption: Women candidates, SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the application fee
• Payment Mode: SBI e-pay only

Minimum Qualifying Marks

• UR/EWS Category: 50%
• OBC/SC/ST/PwBD/ESM: 45%

Age Relaxation

As per DoPT guidelines and applicable norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ESM candidates and Government employees, age relaxation will be provided as specified in the advertisement.
