Important points on qualification:

• The degree must be a Regular / Full Time course (10+2+4, or 10+3+3 in case of lateral entry). Correspondence, Distance, Part Time and E-Learning degrees are not eligible.
• Candidates with a Diploma and the respective Engineering Degree must enter the Engineering Degree marks.
• Candidates with a 5/6 years Integrated Degree in the relevant discipline are also eligible.
• Where CGPA or grades are awarded, the equivalent percentage must be entered and a Conversion Certificate submitted at the time of interview.
• Documentary proof of passing with the minimum aggregate marks must be submitted at the interview, tentatively scheduled during November 2026.
• HAL may consider degrees in other branches of the same engineering disciplines, provided the degree or provisional certificate mentions one of the listed disciplines or branches.

Selection Process

• Selection will be through Interview only.
• Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted on the basis of aggregate marks in the qualifying degree, in order of merit, in the ratio of 1:10 (maximum) to the number of vacancies in each discipline and category.
• If marks are equal, the elder candidate is considered first.
• Candidates must score at least 50% marks in the interview to qualify (relaxation for SC / ST / PwBD as per rules).
• The interview date, time and venue will be intimated to shortlisted candidates by email, and the shortlist will be hosted on the HAL website.
• Selected candidates must clear a pre-employment medical examination.

HAL Junior Executive Salary, Tenure and Benefits

• Pay Scale: E0 Pay Scale (2017) of DPE, Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000, with Basic Pay of Rs. 30,000 plus Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance (when company quarter is not provided) and Cafeteria Allowance at 35% of Basic Pay.
• Increment: Annual increment of 3% on Basic Pay in the second and third year.
• Medical Insurance: Reimbursement up to Rs. 25,000 per annum towards medical insurance coverage of up to Rs. 10 Lakhs.
• Tenure: Engagement is for a maximum of 3 years from the date of joining, with no extension. It can be terminated by either party with one month’s notice or payment of Basic + DA in lieu of notice.
• Other benefits include leave and leave encashment, Provident Fund, Gratuity (subject to conditions), TA/DA and company quarters wherever available.
• Short term engagement does not confer the status of a regular executive of HAL.

5. Upload your recent passport size colour photograph (.jpg, below 100 KB) and signature (.jpg, below 50 KB).
6. SC / ST / PwBD candidates complete registration on the confirmation page. UR / OBC-NCL / EWS candidates must pay the Rs. 500/- fee online through SBI Collect.
7. After payment validation (48–72 hours), download and print the final application form for future reference.

Apply for only ONE engineering discipline. If more than one application is submitted for different disciplines, all such applications will be rejected and the fee forfeited. For the same discipline, the last submitted application will be considered.
