Eligibility: Educational Qualification

The notice treats a PhD as 4 years of experience and MD/MS as 3 years, while MPH, M.Tech and ME do not count as experience. Time spent in earning the essential qualification is not counted.

Age Limit

Selection Procedure

ICMR will select candidates through a computer-based test of MCQs, an interview, or both. Any test is qualifying in nature and covers research methods. Candidates who meet the age, qualification and experience criteria are shortlisted, and if the number is very large, higher relevant experience or higher qualification may be given preference, as decided by the Appointing Authority.
