Selection Process

1. Selection is made on the basis of a computer based test (MCQs) or interview, or both.
2. The computer based test is based on understanding of research methods. It is of qualifying nature and the minimum qualifying mark is the 75th percentile.
3. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility in age, qualification and experience are shortlisted first. If there are too many, ICMR may shortlist further, generally preferring higher experience or higher qualification.
