• Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years (10 years for SC/ST candidates) for meritorious sportspersons, as per Government of India instructions

Selection Process

1. Scrutiny of applications and shortlisting of suitable candidates.
2. Assessment of sports achievements, consistency of performance, age and educational qualifications, in this order of preference: (i) representing India in an international competition; (ii) representing a State/UT in Senior or Junior National Championships with a medal or position up to 3rd place; (iii) Inter-University competitions; (iv) Khelo India Youth, Winter or Para Games; (v) National School Games; (vi) representing at these levels without a medal or position.
3. Provisional merit list based on the information in the online application, followed by verification of original documents.
4. Candidates must be clear in doping tests (WADA/NADA) and give a declaration to that effect.

1. Read the full notification and check eligibility for the post(s) and game.
2. Visit www.incometaxdelhi.gov.in and click the ‘Sports Recruitment’ tab.
3. Fill in the online form carefully and indicate your preference of posts. Only one application may be submitted.
4. Upload date of birth proof, Aadhaar, educational certificates, sports achievement certificates in the prescribed Forms 1 to 5 of Annexure-II, SC/ST certificate (for age relaxation) and NOC if serving.
