Job Overview

The High Court of Judicature at Bombay is inviting applications from retired Officers and Employees of the High Court for the position of Resource Personnel. This is a contractual role aimed at supporting the ongoing Scanning and Digitization Project. Resource Personnel will be responsible for file management, document organization, and assisting the Scanning Team in completing the digitization process smoothly.

Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply:

  • Retired Officers and Employees from Group A to C cadre of the Bombay High Court and its benches at Nagpur and Aurangabad.

Who Cannot Apply:

  • Candidates who were compulsorily retired, prematurely retired, discharged from service during probation, or dismissed are not eligible to apply.

  • Candidates should exhibit the ability to handle sensitive documents and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  1. File Organization:
    Resource Personnel will be responsible for the weeding out of outdated or unnecessary files and organizing documents in line with the project’s indexing guidelines.
  2. Support the Scanning Team:
    The selected personnel will play a crucial role in assisting the scanning team to ensure the smooth and timely completion of the Digitization Project. This involves preparing documents, managing workflow, and coordinating with team members.
  3. Compliance with Court Standards:
    Throughout the assignment, Resource Personnel will be expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality, ensuring that sensitive information and legal documents are handled appropriately and securely.

Salary and Benefits

Resource Personnel ₹31,064 (Consolidated)
  • No additional allowances will be provided.
  • This is a contractual role, and the appointed personnel will not be considered part of the regular staff of the High Court.

Contract Duration and Termination

  • Contract Term: One year.
  • Early Termination: Either party may terminate the contract with one month’s notice or salary in lieu of notice. The Chief Justice reserves the right to terminate the appointment at any time without prior notice if the individual’s performance is unsatisfactory.

Selection Process

The selection process will be based on merit, following a personal interview. Eligible candidates will be notified to attend the interview at their own cost. The final decision rests with the Chief Justice of the High Court of Bombay.
