Qualifications & Experience Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
  • Stenography skills:
    • Dictation for 10 minutes with a speed of 120 words per minute in English or Hindi stenography.
    • Transcription time for dictation: 50 minutes (English) / 65 minutes (Hindi) (Only on Computer).

Job Description

The key duties of a Personal Assistant at EPFO include:

  • Taking dictation and typing from concerned officers
  • Handling telephone calls from members and field offices
  • Attending to visitors
  • Maintaining engagement schedules
  • Preparing tour programs and travel arrangements
  • Handling parliamentary work
  • Diarizing files and papers
  • Tracking important files and documents
  • Monitoring the management system for important references.

Job Location

  • Headquartered in New Delhi.
  • Officers recruited are liable to be posted anywhere in India.

Salary Information

  • Pay Scale: Level-07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommendations.

  • Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty-five only) for Unreserved (UR) / Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) / Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates.
