Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of teaching / research / industry experience, with at least 3 years at a post equivalent to Associate Professor.
  • Research: At least 6 research publications at Associate Professor level in SCI/UGC/AICTE approved journals and 2 successful Ph.D. candidates guided, or at least 10 such publications.

Associate Professor – CSE / IT / ECE / MAE

  • Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant field with first class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of teaching / research / industry experience, with at least 2 years post-Ph.D.
  • Research: At least 6 research publications in SCI/UGC approved journals.

Assistant Professor – CSE / IT

  • Essential: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
  • Desirable: Ph.D. in relevant discipline and/or research publications in reputed journals; teaching at degree-level institutions in relevant discipline.

Applied Sciences & Humanities (English / Mathematics / Chemistry)

  • Professor (English): Eminent scholar with Ph.D. in relevant discipline, 10 research publications in SCI/UGC listed journals and total research score of 120, plus minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience with Ph.D. guidance.
  • Associate Professor (Mathematics): Ph.D. in relevant discipline, Master’s with at least 55% marks, 8 years of teaching/research experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent, 7 publications and research score of 75.
  • Assistant Professor (Chemistry): Master’s degree with 55% marks in relevant subject and NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D. as per UGC regulations; additional NET exemption conditions apply for certain Ph.D. holders.

Architecture & Planning (Architecture / M. Plan)

  • Professor (Architecture): Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent to B.Arch and Master’s degree in Architecture or allied subject with 60% marks; 14 years’ teaching/research/professional experience with at least 5 years full-time teaching or 19 years professional experience; Ph.D. in Architecture desirable.
  • Associate Professor (Architecture): Bachelor’s and Master’s in Architecture or allied subjects with 60% marks and 8 years’ teaching/research/professional experience, including 3 years full-time teaching, or 13 years professional experience.
  • Assistant Professor (Architecture): Bachelor’s in Architecture or equivalent with 60% marks and 3 years professional experience, or Bachelor’s plus Master’s in Architecture or allied fields with 60% marks and 1 year professional experience.
  • Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor (M.Plan): Specific combinations of Bachelor’s in Architecture/Planning/Civil or Master’s in Geography/Economics/Sociology, Master of Planning, Ph.D. in relevant field and prescribed experience, as detailed in the recruitment notice.

All appointments in regular pay scales will initially be on probation.
In cases of exceptional merit, the Selection Committee may recommend additional increments based on higher qualifications, experience and academic achievements.

Selection Process

The selection process for Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts will be merit-based and conducted through all India advertisement and duly constituted Selection Committees.
The overall procedure includes screening of applications, written test (for Assistant Professor, if required), seminar or presentation and personal interview.

Screening and Shortlisting

  • Applications will be screened based on academic record, research performance and other scholarly credentials as per prescribed weightage system.
