Selection Process
- Objective type multiple choice written test in English, with negative marking of one-fourth marks for each wrong answer.
- Marks: UT Cadre written test 85, Division Cadre 80, District Cadre 75, with additional points (home division/district, family without government service, widows/divorced/orphan women, casual workers) up to a total of 100.
- Document Verification, then cadre and department allocation on merit-cum-preference. Syllabus will be notified separately.

- Visit the JKSSB website jkssb.nic.in and open the online application portal.
- Fill in the form with name, date of birth and parents’ names exactly as in the Matriculation certificate.
- Upload live photograph and signature (10 KB to 20 KB each) and pay the fee online.
- Submit before 3 November 2026 and keep a printout for Document Verification. Do not send a hard copy to the Board.
