Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), a 50-50 joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Kerala, has released KMRL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 (Ref. No. KMRL/Apprenticeship/2026-27/HR-Admin/01 dated 15/10/2026) for the engagement of 70 apprentices for one year under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Applications are accepted from 15/10/2026 till 10 November 2026.

Candidates with qualifications through part-time, correspondence, distance or online mode are not eligible. Those awaiting final results or who have undergone any apprenticeship training earlier are not eligible.

Selection Process

1. There is no written examination or interview.
2. Incomplete or ineligible applications are rejected. Reservation is as per Government guidelines.
3. Shortlisted candidates are called for verification of documents and certificates.
4. Selected candidates are engaged on acceptance of the tripartite apprenticeship contract on the NATS/NAPS website, after submitting a medical certificate and police verification.

How to Apply

1. Register on NAPS (https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) for ITI, or NATS (https://nats.education.gov.in/) for Degree/Diploma, and complete the profile with all documents.
2. Fill in the Apprentice Bio-Data Form (application format attached with the notification).
3. Send the form with the NATS/NAPS enrolment number, scanned educational certificates and mark sheets, proof of age and category certificates (if applicable) to: General Manager (HR, ADMN & TRG), Kochi Metro Rail Ltd., Corporate Office, 4th Floor, JLN Stadium Metro Station, Kaloor, Kochi, Kerala – 682017.
