Educational Qualification

Level 2/3	Passed class 12th (10+2) or equivalent. OR Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship. OR class 10th plus ITI or equivalent / NAC granted by NCVT.	Candidates appearing or awaiting final results are not eligible.
Level 1	10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.	No relaxation in educational qualification.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years
• Age Calculation Date: 1 January 2027 (date of birth not earlier than 02.01.2002 and not later than 01.01.2009)
• Age Relaxation: No age relaxation (upper or lower) is permissible

Selection Process

1. Sports Trials followed by Certificate (Sports and Educational) Verification.
2. Marks out of 100: recognised sports achievement 50, game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observation during trial 40 (minimum 25 to qualify), educational qualification 10.
3. Minimum qualifying marks: 70 for Grade Pay 2400/2800, 65 for Grade Pay 1900/2000 and 60 for Grade Pay 1800.
4. Medical fitness examination before appointment.

1. Visit www.rrcser.co.in once the link opens on 31 October 2026.
2. Click on “Online/E-Application for Sports Quota (OA) / 2026-27” and select New Registration.
3. Fill in name, father’s name, date of birth, community, email and mobile number and note the registration number and password sent by email/SMS.
4. Login, complete the application and upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, ID proof and certificates for age, education and sports achievements (achievements on or after 01.04.2024).
5. Pay the fee online and keep a print of the application with your registration number.
