URSC Recruitment 2026 is now open for ITI-trained technicians and experienced drivers. The U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru, an ISRO centre under the Department of Space, has released Advertisement No. URSC:04:2026 dated 24 October 2026 to fill 61 posts: 46 Technician-B posts in eight trades and 15 driver posts (Light Vehicle Driver-A, Staff Car Driver-A and Heavy Vehicle Driver-A). The posts are temporary but likely to continue. Applications are accepted online only, from 24 October 2026 till 13 November 2026 (11:55 PM).

Some posts are reserved for PwBD candidates (visually impaired, orthopedically impaired, hearing impaired and autism spectrum disorder), and some are backlog vacancies. Driving experience counts only after obtaining a valid licence. Certificates must be issued by government or semi-government agencies, registered companies, societies or trusts; certificates from individuals and part-time experience are not accepted. All requirements must be met by the last date of online application.

| Technician-B | Written test (CBT) of 80 MCQs in 1.5 hours (+1 for correct, –0.33 for wrong answer; pass marks 32/80 UR and 24/80 reserved), followed by a qualifying skill test of 100 marks (pass marks 50 UR, 40 reserved). Candidates are shortlisted for the skill test at 1:5 ratio, minimum 10 candidates. A valid NAC score is preferred in case of a tie. |

Shortlisting for the written test is based on academic performance and other details in the application. The skill test is held only in Bengaluru, and outstation shortlisted candidates get second-class rail or non-AC bus fare reimbursement.
