Job Title: Indian Army – Army Recruiting Office Agra – Agniveer Intake for 2023-24

Job Overview: The Indian Army is seeking unmarried male candidates to apply for the Agniveer Intake for recruiting year 2023-24. The selection tests will be held under the Agnipath Scheme. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online from 16 February 2023 to 15 March 2023.

Job Description: The recruitment of Agniveers will be carried out in two phases: Online Computer Based Written Examination (Online CEE) and Recruitment Rally. Candidates who clear the Online CEE will be called for the recruitment rally.

  • Agniveer (General Duty) (All Arms): Candidates must have passed Class 10th/Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements. The age limit for this category is 17 ½ – 21 years.
  • Agniveer (Technical) (All Arms): Candidates must have passed 10+2/Intermediate Exam with Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. Alternatively, candidates can also pass 10+2/Intermediate exam with Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English from any recognized State Edn Bd or Central Edn Bd to incl NIOS and ITI course of min one yr in required field with NSQF level 4 or above. The age limit for this category is 17 ½ – 23 years.

Eligibility criteria for Clerk/Store Keeper Technical (All Arms) and Tradesmen (All Arms) are also given in the job post.

Candidates who have appeared in class 10th and class 12th Board Exam and are awaiting declaration of results are also eligible to apply provided they fulfill all other Qualitative Requirements.
