Selection Process

1. Short-listing based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification for the respective trade. If more than one candidate has the same percentage, relative merit is decided by seniority in age.
2. Shortlisted candidates are informed through their registered email ID and must appear for certificate verification with a signed print-out of the online application, original certificates (age, qualification, caste, disability, if any) and self-attested copies.
3. After successful verification, candidates are provisionally considered in the order of merit and reservation, subject to medical fitness.
4. Selected candidates must execute the Apprenticeship contract agreement through the Apprenticeship India portal.

No travel expenses are admissible for certificate verification or during the training period. Boarding and lodging will not be provided by CSL. The duration of apprenticeship training is one year.
