Selection Process

1. The Selection Board of PXE will go through the applications and shortlist candidates based on the percentage of marks secured in the essential qualification.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test / Interview, to be held at PXE, Chandipur.
3. After the interview, selected candidates will be offered a joining letter through e-mail only.

How to Apply

1. Register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal (https://www.nats.education.gov.in). Applications from non-registered candidates or candidates with an invalid Enrollment No. will be rejected.
2. Download the application form from the website www.drdo.gov.in.
3. Fill up the application form by typing only. Handwritten application forms will be rejected.
4. Attach mark sheets of the essential qualification and reservation certificate (if any), along with a recent passport size photograph.
5. Write “Application for Engagement of Apprentices, Apprentice Category (Degree/Diploma) and Discipline/Branch………..” on the envelope.
6. Send the completed form by Speed Post / Registered Post only to: The Director, Proof & Experimental Establishment (PXE), Defence R&D Organisation, PO- Chandipur, Dist- Balasore, Odisha- 756025 (Kind Attn. OIC, HRDC).
7. Ensure the application reaches the establishment on or before 12 October 2026.
