Qualifications & Experience Requirements
Consultant {Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)}:
- Valid Indian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) on civil aircraft used for air transport operations
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) rating on civil aircraft with All Up Weight above 5700 kgs
- Valid Instrument Rating endorsed on license
- Minimum 6000 hours total flying experience, including at least 3000 hours as PIC on civil air transport aircraft
- Valid Class I Medical Assessment issued by DGCA
- Open rating for aircraft with All Up Weight not exceeding 5700 kgs issued by DGCA
- Accident-free record for the preceding 5 years
- Not found breath analyzer (BA) positive in the last 3 years
- Preference for candidates holding Examiner/Instructor qualifications approved by DGCA
Consultant {Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)}:
- Valid Indian ATPL on civil aircraft used for air transport
- PIC rating on civil aircraft with All Up Weight above 5700 kgs
- Valid Instrument Rating endorsed on license
- Minimum 5000 hours total flying experience, including at least 1500 hours as PIC
- Valid Class I Medical Assessment from DGCA
- Accident-free record for the preceding 5 years
- Not BA positive in the last 3 years
- Preference for Examiner/Instructor qualifications approved by DGCA
Consultant {Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter)}:
- Commercial Pilot License (Helicopter) issued by DGCA with current PIC rating on civil helicopters
- Minimum 3000 hours total flying experience, including at least 1500 hours as PIC on helicopters
- Valid Class I Medical Assessment from DGCA
- Accident-free record for the preceding 5 years
- Not BA positive in the last 3 years
- Preference for TRE/TRI/Check Pilot qualifications on civil helicopters
Job Location
Selected candidates can be posted at DGCA Headquarters in New Delhi or at any of the DGCA Regional Offices located across India.
Salary Information
- Consultant {Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)}: Rs. 7,46,000 per month
- Consultant {Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)}: Rs. 5,02,800 per month
- Consultant {Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter)}: Rs. 2,82,800 per month
For medically unfit FOIs/SFOIs engaged on fixed remuneration basis:
- Rs. 3,80,000 per month for FOIs
- Rs. 4,40,000 per month for SFOIs
