Qualifications:

• Scientific Officer/E (Medical):
  • General Surgery: M.B.B.S. with M.S. or equivalent in General Surgery.
  • Nuclear Medicine: M.B.B.S. with M.S./M.D. or equivalent in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years post-graduation.
• Scientific Officer/D (Medical):
  • Various specializations (Dental Prosthodontics, Anaesthesia, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Radiology, Paediatrics, ENT, Nuclear Medicine, General Surgery, Human/Medical Geneticist).
  • Specific qualifications as per specialization, generally M.B.B.S. with corresponding postgraduate degree/diploma and experience.
• Scientific Officer/C (Medical):
  • General Duty/Casualty Medical Officer: M.B.B.S. with registration with Medical Council of India. Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Technical Officer/B:
  • Physiotherapy: P.G. Degree in Physiotherapy with minimum 50% marks.
• Scientific Assistant/C:
  • Medical Social Worker: Post-Graduate Degree in Medical Social Work with minimum 50% marks.
• Nurse/A:
  • B.Sc. (Nursing) or equivalent, or Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery with valid registration.
• Scientific Assistant/B:
  • Pathology, Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technologist: Relevant B.Sc. degree with specific requirements for each specialization.
• Pharmacist/B:
  • HSC + 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy + Registration as a Pharmacist.
• Technician/B:
  • Orthopaedic Technician, ECG Technician, Cardio Sonography Technician: Minimum 60% in HSC (Science) and 1-year certificate course in relevant field.

Salary:

• Scientific Officer/E: Rs. 78,800 + NPA + allowances
• Scientific Officer/D: Rs. 67,700 + NPA + allowances
• Scientific Officer/C: Rs. 56,100 + NPA + allowances
• Technical Officer/B: Rs. 47,600 + allowances
• • Nurse/A: Rs. 44,900 + allowances
  • Scientific Assistant/B: Rs. 35,400 + allowances
