1. Scientific Administrative Assistant
   • Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in Computer Science / IT from a recognized University/ Institute.
   • Desirable:
     • B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Science / IT
     • Working knowledge in Accounts Management Software / GST
     • Experience in Database Management & Maintenance
     • Working knowledge in Invoice preparation
   • Age Limit: 50 years
   • Salary: Rs. 18,000/- plus HRA
   • Tenure: Up to 31.03.2025
2. Project Assistants
   • Positions: Multiple, with varied specializations as follows:
     • Medical Laboratory Technology/Biochemistry: 1 position
       • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or B.Sc. in Biochemistry
     • Physics/Sports Biomechanics and Kinesiology: 5 positions
       • B.Sc. in Physics / Sports Biomechanics or equivalent, or B.Sc./B.A. in Physical Education, or Bachelor’s/Diploma in Prosthesis and Orthosis
     • Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Zoology: 2 positions
       • B.Sc. in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Zoology / Medical Biochemistry or equivalent
     • Leather Technology: 3 positions
       • 3 years Diploma in Leather Technology or equivalent
     • Zoology/Biotechnology: 1 position

   • Salary: Rs. 20,000/- plus HRA

   • Salary: Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA (Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA if selected through CSIR-UGC NET or GATE or National level exams)

4. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
   • Positions: 4
   • Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry (various specializations) and selection through National Eligibility tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) / GATE.
   • Desirable: First class or equivalent in M.Sc., experience in advanced instrument operation, synthetic chemistry, good communication and writing skills, motivation for scientific research
   • Age Limit: 28 years
   • Salary: Rs. 37,000/- plus HRA per month
   • Tenure: 1 year
5. Senior Project Associate
   • Essential Qualification: Doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Sciences / Chemistry
   • Desirable: Industrial experience in pilot scale production of chemicals, working knowledge of computer (MS office applications)
   • Age Limit: 40 years
   • Salary: Rs. 42,000/- plus HRA
   • Tenure: 1 year
6. Principal Project Associate
   • Essential Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. in Leather Technology with minimum eight (08) years’ experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations
   • Desirable: Experience in leather, leather chemicals, chemical research, management science degrees
   • Age Limit: 40 years
   • Salary: Rs. 49,000/- plus HRA
   • Tenure: Up to 31.03.2025
7. Research Associate
   • Essential Qualification: M.Tech. in Leather Technology with minimum three (03) years of research experience
   • Desirable: Minimum two (02) research publications
   • Age Limit: 35 years
   • Salary: Rs. 58,000/- plus HRA
   • Tenure: Up to 31.03.2025

• Submission: Candidates fulfilling the qualifications and age criteria can appear for the Written Test / Interview.
  • Stage I: Written Test (Qualifying in nature) – Multiple Choice Questions covering subject matter at the Graduation level, General Awareness, General Intelligence, Aptitude, and General English.
    • Venue: Triple Helix Auditorium, CLRI
    • Time: 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on 12.06.2024
  • Stage II: Personal Interview for selected candidates.

Additional Information

• Tenure: The tenure of engagement is project-specific and co-terminus with the project.
• Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes, Divyangjan (PWD), and female applicants, and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
• General Conditions: The engagement is purely temporary, and selected candidates will have no right for regular positions in CLRI/CSIR. Candidates must produce original certificates at the time of joining.
