Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited is a 50:50 Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Gujarat. GMRC is responsible for the implementation of metro rail projects in Gujarat, including Ahmedabad Metro and Surat Metro.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
For Civil Posts like GM, AGM, JGM:
- B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in the construction of major infrastructure projects like metros, railways, etc.
For System Posts like GM, AGM, JGM:
- B.E/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering
- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in railways/metros in areas like Traction, Signalling, Telecom, etc.
For Deputy Manager, Manager, Assistant Manager:
- B.E/B.Tech in Civil/Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience
For Engineer:
- B.E/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience
For Assistant Manager (HR):
- MBA/MHRM
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR

Salary Information
For contract positions:
- GM level: Rs 1.2 lakhs to Rs 2 lakhs per month consolidated
- AGM/JGM: Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.8 lakhs per month consolidated
- DGM: Rs 70,000 to Rs 1.2 lakhs per month consolidated
- Manager: Rs 60,000 to Rs 80,000 per month consolidated
- AM: Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 per month consolidated
- Engineer: Rs 35,000 to Rs 1.1 lakhs per month consolidated
For deputation posts, existing pay scale and allowances of parent organization applicable.
